We offer a constructivist approach and a humanistic philosophy in which the kids are the main characters and the only interest. We respect their individual learning process and maturity stages at all times. Our  professionals will guide and embrace our students to gro into healthy independent, happy and complete human beings.

Toddlers: 1-2 years / Beginners: 2-3 years

In both grades, learrning trough games, play and sensory experiences is needed due to the sensorimotor stage in wich they are. We will work on their gross motor skills, body balance, strength and control. Scribbling will flow freely in this period of time and we will provide several materials and textures to make it an enriching experience always. Students will enrich their vocabulary as they sing, listen stories, play and interact with their classmates, teachers and stimulating materials. They will start to follow instructions, react to different stimulus and begin internalizing limits according to their age. Some of the topics  covered as a guide for learning concepts will be: introduction to numbers, primary colors, animals, fruits, body and emotions. There will be an emotional containment and they will feel embraced and cuddled at all times.

Kinder 1: 3-4 years

In this grade, we will continue  with the gross motor skills stimulation: strength, posture, coordination, balance, getting to know space- related concepts, like up- down, left- right, etc. Vocabulary wise, they  will repeat, internalize and learn lots of new words and phrases, applying them to a particular concept. Students will follow and execute specific instructions and actions. We´ll introduce  vowels, sounds and slowly start to intentionally transform the scribble into a stroke with certain direction, obtaining little by little the correct grip on the crayon or pencil. Social skills are a MUST in this stage and we´ll begin to work on recognizing and dealing with their emotions, also watching closely to their attention span. Math concepts will begin with classifying, making series and patterns, counting, tracing numbers, adding and substracting with concrete materials and making sets. Finally, we will be covering as a guide for learning concepts: daily routine, primary and secondary colors, animals from different ecosystems, food, family members and shapes.

Kinder 2: 4-5 years

n this grade, the gross motor skills program adds up abilities and challenges. We´ll continue working coordination, (eye, foot & hand) balance and more notions of space. The fine motor skills become very important at this point, we will do exercises and activities to strengthen and control the shoulder, elbow and wrist dynamic movements all the way to fingers. The oral language becomes more elaborated, here they will be able to respond and structure short phrases. They will also be able to follow and execute more complex instructions and actions. We will introduce some consonants to the prior vowel sounds and include reading comprehension and work with dividing words into syllables. We will go further in concepts related with numbers: sequences, patterns, sets, number-quantity relation, 1 to 1 correspondence, number series, adding and subtracting in a concrete level up to number 25. We´ll be closely watching their attention span maturity process and most certainly the role playing, communication and social abilities. The naming, recognition and handling of emotions will be also essential. Daily routines become more complex and challenging and the topics learned will be enriched and complemented with higher level concepts. For example: Add secondary colors, extend family members and body parts, etc…
